The barrel is the shape that started outdoor sauna culture, and the Orphée is Holl's modern reading of it: a black-finished, heat-treated Canadian timber barrel whose curved walls do the physics for you — hot air circulating naturally around the ring instead of pooling at the ceiling. Five to six people sit inside; the tinted door and half-moon rear window keep it bright but private.
